Lake Forest Pool Committee
The Pool Committee endeavors to find reputable vendors for repairs and routine maintenance in accordance with Forsyth County and State of GA health regulations. We also work to hire lifeguard staff to oversee and maintain healthy levels of play at the pool. We work to promote guidelines of pool use necessary to protect individuals as well as association members.
Pool Access:
Our resort-style pool is accessible for HOA members in good standing. Key card access to the gates and the lower level of the Clubhouse is activated each fiscal year for those whose HOA dues are current. Guests are welcome at the pool as long as the hosting HOA member is present. Key cards are non-transferrable. If key cards have been lost or stolen, please request they be deactivated immediately.
Cards for new HOA members and replacement cards can also be obtained submitting the online by submitting the Key Card Request Form.
Pool Hours:
The gates to the pool will allow key card access between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:00 pm daily.
Pool Guidelines:
Hired lifeguards are to oversee play at the pool. While they do take bags of trash to the dumpster, lifeguards are not "pool butlers". They should not be expected to pick up after HOA family members.
Please do your part to pick up your own litter and clean up spilled food items. Dispose of such items in provided trash containers. Removing spilled food items quickly will help to keep ants, files, bees and other insects away from the pool area. Your fellow neighbors will be grateful.
General Policies:
- All residents, their families and their guests who use the pool shall do so at their own risk. They will be held responsible for all actions of themselves, their children and their guests.
- Lake Forest Pool is a swim at your own risk" pool. With this privilege also comes responsibility. During lifeguard hours, contracted staff is responsible for properly maintaining the pool area. During non-lifeguard hours, residents are expected to maintain the pool area, e.g. return pool furniture to proper areas; dispose of all trash in appropriate receptacles; and adhere to all pool rules at all times. Violators will be reported to the Board of Directors.
- Lake Forest HOA assumes no responsibility whatsoever for any accident or injury in connection with the use of the pool facility and will not be responsible for loss or damage of personal property of any kind. Persons using the pool facility agree to waive any and all claims and causes of action against the Association and further agree not to hold the Association liable for any acts, injuries or damages which may relate to the use of the pool facility.
- All residents, their families, and their guests are required to read and abide by the Lake Forest HOA swimming pool policies, rules and regulations prior to their initial use of the pool facility.
- Any member cited for a violation of these pool rules, regulations and policies - or is delinquent in any fees owed to the Lake Forest HOA - may be denied access to the pool facility. Fines may also be assessed if any member or guest is in violation of these rules.
- Parents or legal guardians of any child or adult using the pool facility (including those dismissed from the pool facility) shall remain solely responsible for the personal care and supervision of the children or adults in their charge. This supervision includes the area in or around the facility or anywhere else in the Lake Forest subdivision.
- The pool rules and policies may be changed or amended at any time at the sole discretion of the Lake Forest HOA Board of Directors.
